We have long understood that many people flowing through our doors view libraries as safe places to go. Becoming a certified OnWatch Advocate has empowered staff who completed training to spot signs of human trafficking and to respond appropriately

In 2020 Safe House Project was able to financially help Refuge for Women open Kentucky’s first Emergency House for sex trafficking survivors. They have helped with physical items like mattresses and the education materials they produced have been fabulous. We value the partnership in a great way and look forward to working together in 2021.
