Monica Nagy

Monica Nagy is a national speaker, consultant, survivor-leader, and Founder & CEO of F.U.S.E., a survivor-led anti-trafficking organization in Florida. A survivor of familial sex trafficking, Monica combines lived experience with frontline expertise to strengthen how communities and systems identify, serve, and support survivors.

Her work spans direct services, program development, training, systems collaboration, and operations assisting in the identification and recovery of missing and endangered children. Monica serves as a Lived Experience Expert Consultant and Certification Site Visit Reviewer with Safe House Project, is a member of the Trafficking Survivor Equity Coalition (TSEC), a graduate of the SCALE Survivor Leadership Program, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Southwest Florida Coalition Against Human Trafficking.

As a national speaker and trainer, Monica speaks on survivor leadership, trauma-informed care, victim identification, systems change, and long-term survivor support. She also works alongside Duane "Dog the Bounty Hunter" Chapman and his wife, Francie Chapman, supporting bounty hunt operations and media.

At the heart of Monica's work is a commitment to move lived experience beyond storytelling and into leadership, strategy, and the rooms where decisions are made.

Lora Trent — Director of Survivor Support

Lora leads Safe House Project's efforts to provide comprehensive, trauma-informed emergency services to survivors of human trafficking. She oversees the dedicated Survivor Support Team, ensuring that survivors receive immediate and effective assistance, including shelter, transportation, safe house placement, and support for essential needs during the critical moments following identification or exit. Lora collaborates with national partners, safe house programs, healthcare providers, law enforcement, and community organizations to address the complex needs of survivors and eliminate barriers to safety, stabilization, and long-term care.

In addition to direct service oversight, Lora contributes to the development of trauma-informed protocols and builds relationships with service providers across the country to expand access to high-quality, survivor-centered care. With a deep understanding of trauma, systems navigation, and survivor response, and more than 26 years of experience working directly with survivors and safe home providers, Lora plays a key role in advancing Safe House Project's mission to empower survivors and ensure they have access to the care they need to begin their healing journey.
