Partner

Partnership is a key element of our work. SHP partners with other established organizations who are driven to raising awareness, raising funds, and using their talents to help fight this crisis. Our resource partnerships are selected throughout the course of the year. If you are interested in being a resource partner (click here).

Additionally, SHP partners with organizations who are building or currently operating Safe Houses globally. The selection of the individual houses is accomplished through a process which involves organizations submitting a request for funds along with details of their plan, resources, other funding capacity, and building specs (if needed). The Safe House Project Board of Directors will vote annually in December to select the Safe Houses it will resource for the following year. Funds are allocated each December.  If you are interested in being a Safe House Project recipient (click here).

Renaissance Movement Music

A hip-hop label that launched the first efforts of Safe House Project™.  The initial vision was to create an album and concert tour to raise funds and awareness of sex trafficking. 100% of the net proceeds of the album go directly towards building a Safe House for orphaned children in the Soshanguve township, South Africa. These voiceless children daily face the very real dangers of sex trafficking and slavery. Through the universal art of hip hop, continued record sales of the Safe House album and future album projects, RMM endeavors to accomplish this Safe House mission, while simultaneously sharing the tangible hope that the gospel of Jesus Christ brings to a hurting world.

Epic Sports Marketing (ESM)

An elite-level endurance sports marketing event company. SHP’s partnership with Epic began with a vision held by ESM owner, Zahid Buttar, and Safe House Project CEO, Kristi Wells, to create a race series to combat human trafficking. Through combined forces, the Safe House Project Half Marathon and 5k Nationwide race series™ was created as a means to raise awareness and funds to resource Safe Houses. Through this partnership, the inaugural race in Virginia Beach, Virginia raised more than $7500 to go towards the building of a Safe House in South Africa. Safe House Project Half Marathon and 5k will host 4 races in 2018. Locations include Virginia, Central Florida, Florida Panhandle and North Carolina.
